How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?

$275 For the first 24hrs. This price include driveway safe delivery and pick up. It comes with a 1 ton weight allowance with a $85/ton overage fee. $25/Day if you need it for longer.

What can I throw out?

These items are included in all dumpster rentals and wont be subject to additional fees
  • Construction debris
  • demolition/renovation debris
  • roofing materials
  • lumber
  • general electronics
  • furniture
  • non-rolled carpet
  • wood or laminate flooring
  • tile, paper, glass and plastic products

What can't I throw out?

  • No biological matter, including dead animals, biomedical waste food waste
  • No hazardous materials of any kind.
  • No oils or other lubricants including motor oil, transmission oil, etc.
  • No flammables, propane tanks, fuels, etc.
  • No vehicle batteries
  • No sealed barrels or drums

What are the overages and what do they cost?

There are a few things that could cause an overage
  • Overweight fee. Anything over 2000lbs (1Ton)will be billed back to the client at $85/Ton over
  • Home appliances and TV's will incur at least a $25 per item fee depending on it's size. Must disclose items prior to rental otherwise additional processing fees may be incurred.  
  • Tires will incur a $25 per item fee if included in the dumpster $75 for tires on rim.
  • Mixed construction debris with landscape debris. Landscape debris requires separation from household junk and construction debris at the dump. If separation is required additional fees may be incurred.
  • Dumpster is not ready for pickup upon our arrival to pickup. A $100 drive out fee will be incurred by the client if the dumpster is not accessible or is not ready for pickup when the driver shows up to the location on the scheduled pickup date

How do you prevent damage to my driveway during delivery?

We always put down rubber matts under the wheels of the dumpster on paver drivers. Concrete driveways are more forgiving so we only use the rubber matts on concrete driveways upon request. If you have a paver driveway we will put protection down to prevent scraping.

Do you need a permit to park a dumpster in the street?

If you plan to place the dumpster on your private driveway, you generally do not need a permit. However, if the dumpster must be placed on a public street or blocking a sidewalk, a Right-of-Way permit is typically required by the city. Always check with your HOA (if applicable) and let them know you'll be placing a roll off dumpster in your driveway or in the street.

Do I need to be present for drop-off or pick-up?

No, just let us know where you would like to dumpster located and we'll take care of everything.

How much lead time do you need?

Often times we can get a dumpster to you the same day depending on availability, location and how late it is in the day when you reach out. Usually 24 hour notice is more than enough. We recommend calling us at 833-386-7813if you need immediate service.

What areas do you service?

We regularly serve the Greater Tampa Bay Area with a 25 mile radius around 33556 i.e. Brandon, Clearwater, Dunedin, Holiday, Largo, Land O’ Lakes, Lutz, Odessa, Spring Hill, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Tarpon Springs, Temple Terrace, and Wesley Chapel.

Service Area and Delivery Fee Explained

Dumpster Dogs offers free delivery within 25 miles of our yard.
If you’re outside that area, there’s a small $8 per mile fee for the extra distance. This is based on a formula of $2 per Mile 2 trips there and back.

For example, Downtown St. Petersburg is about 15 miles beyond our 25-mile zone, so that’s:
15 miles × $8 = $120 extra total for delivery and pickup.

We sometimes waive this fee if we’re already working in your area that day.
